Elizabeth Drotning Hartwell is a member of the firm’s Family Law & Litigation practice areas. Her practice focuses on all aspects of family law matters, including dissolution, custody and parenting time, post-decree matters, child support, spousal maintenance, complex valuation issues, grandparent/third party custody, domestic abuse and harassment, parental relocation, domestic and international parental abduction, and appeals. Liz practiced family law in New Mexico for 11 years, where she was a shareholder in her former firm. She has frequently worked as a Parenting Consultant and a court-appointed neutral, and is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. A skilled writer and negotiator, Liz enjoys crafting creative solutions and is always prepared to advocate for her clients and their children both in and out of the courtroom.
