Yesterday, Liz Hartwell appeared on the Minnesota Family Law Podcast, a podcast by, with, for and about Minnesota family law attorneys, hosted by Tom Tuft of Tuft, Lach, Jerabek & O’Connell. The episode focused on how Liz and Jennifer Stevens (Stevens Family Law & Mediation, PLLC) have successfully transitioned their practices after moving to Minnesota.

“Minnesota is lucky to have so many great resources and processes at its disposal,” said Liz. “In New Mexico, any time I talk to my friends there about the differences in practice here, everybody is amazed at all of the early neutral evaluations and all of the different options we have for settling cases."

In addition to moving to a new state, Liz joined Best & Flanagan’s full-service law firm, a change in both size and scope from the family law firms where she had previously practiced. “It is really nice to have the benefit of other practice areas just down the hall. If I have questions about estates, or real estate, or tax, or something like that, there's always somebody that's available.”
