The SouthWest Metro Chamber of Commerce will host a general membership luncheon on Wednesday, October 22, where Megan Kunze will be presenting on Minnesota’s Safe and Sick Time and Paid Family & Medical Leave laws, both set to take effect January 1, 2026, and what they mean for employers and employees. The event will cover key provisions, compliance requirements, and steps that businesses can take now to prepare for a smooth implementation.
Megan is a member of the firm’s Employment Law team. She represents clients in all stages of litigation in state and federal court and has significant experience in disputes involving non-competition and non-solicitation, trade secrets theft and unfair competition. Megan also provides counseling to clients on workplace issues including hiring, termination, protecting confidential information and compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws. She assists clients with drafting internal policies and employment agreements, including non-compete, and confidentiality agreements. For her extensive practice, she has been included in the Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Stars list and named “One to Watch” by Best Lawyers in America.
