Dan Grimsrud Quoted in MSPBJ Article

Dan Grimsrud, a mergers and acquisitions specialist in our Business & Corporate Law practice group, contributed his thoughts to a recent Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal article titled “Calmer Seas for M&A,” printed March 3. The article compares Minnesota’s M&A activity from 2021 and 2022 and provides a market outlook for 2023.

"’There's definitely been a change. Anyone that has a business in [the middle-market] range had such a long time of perfect conditions to sell…Anybody that wanted to sell, they've sold.’ Grimsrud said deals are still chugging along apace, and anyone who's interested in selling their business can generally still find a buyer who's willing to offer a decent price.”
