David Schelzel Participates in Panel Discussion at 2017 SXSW Conference

On March 16, 2017, intellectual property attorney David Schelzel participated in a panel discussion at this year's South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference in Austin, Texas. Preceded by an open letter to Congress signed by more than 200 recording artists and industry figures, the panel, "Navigating the YouTube Safe Harbor," explored the existing Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown regime, the debate surrounding its reform, and how rightsholders and internet service providers can navigate its murky waters.
