Best & Flanagan Attorneys Prevail in The Minnesota Supreme Court

On July 19, 2017, Ashleigh Leitch and Allen Barnard secured a win on behalf of the City of Golden Valley. The Minnesota Supreme Court affirmed the City’s position regarding petitions for administrative search warrants to inspect rental housing for compliance with health and safety codes. This decision was a matter of first impression under the Minnesota Constitution and confirms the City’s previous win before the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Ashleigh Leitch is a member of Best & Flanagan’s Litigation and Labor and Employment Law practice groups. She represents individuals, public entities and municipalities, corporations and nonprofit corporations across a broad range of industries.

Allen Barnard is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice area, as well as its Government and Land Development law practice area.
