Mary E. Shearen Chosen as one of Minnesota’s “Top Women in Finance”
Mary E. Shearen, partner at Best & Flanagan LLP, is honored to have been selected by Finance & Commerce as one of their 2011 “Top Women in Finance.” This award recognizes and celebrates Minnesota’s women who have made significant contributions to the financial services industry by positively influencing their business and community.
This year’s honorees were recognized November 10th at a dinner and awards presentation at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Profiles of the prestigious winners also will appear in a special section of Finance & Commerce the week of November 14, 2011.
Mary was selected for her exceptional legal and financial knowledge in the areas of private wealth planning, estates and trusts administration, tax, and family business planning. Mary received her J.D., summa cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, and a B.A., in Nursing from the College of St. Catherine. She clerked for the Honorable Donald P. Lay, Chief Judge of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals for the U.S.
