Summary
A billing and trust accounting specialist manages financial transactions related to client billing and trust accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. They handle invoices, payments, and reporting for both client accounts and trust funds. This role also involves maintaining client records, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting attorneys with billing-related inquiries.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generating and sending invoices to clients
- Processing client payments and reconciling accounts
- Providing billing support and responding to client inquiries
- Managing trust account deposits and withdrawals
- Maintaining accurate records of all trust account activity in accounting system
- Maintaining vendor files and records.
- Managing and updating system information, including client addresses, billing rate changes, etc.
- Assist with the monthly billing process by proactively managing unbilled time and costs

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years billing experience
- Law firm or professional services experience preferred
Pay Range: $50,000 to $60,000
