Ross C. Formell is a partner in the firm’s Business Law practice area.   • Representing an insurance company in the formation of only the second mutual insurance holding company ever formed under Minnesota law.
  • Representing an insurance company in the acquisition of another insurance company for $140 million.
  • Representing a local real estate developer in the sale of the company for $26 million.
  • Representing an insurance company in the acquisition of an Arkansas insurance company.
  • Representing an investment advisor in the sale of the company.

His experience includes representation of both sellers and buyers in large and small corporate acquisitions; advising clients in private and public offerings of securities; advising Native American tribes in business development, financing, contract and other matters, advising banks and insurance companies in regulatory matters and working on a variety of debt and equity financing projects.
