Each year, Minnesota Lawyer seeks to recognize attorneys in their first 10 years of practice who have distinguished themselves by their professional accomplishments, leadership, and service to their community and profession.
Jen Olson represents companies and individuals in her complex business and commercial litigation practice in matters involving a diverse array of legal issues. She defended an employment discrimination claim in a four-day bench trial that resulted in a complete defense victory, and won early dismissal of multi-million dollar fraudulent transfer claims. Jen consistently develops creative legal solutions that help her clients effectively resolve disputes and achieve their business goals.
Since 2010, Jen has been active within the Hennepin County Bar Association. She has served as the chair of the new lawyers section, on the executive committee, on the finance and planning committee, and will begin a new term on the board in July. Jen also provides pro bono legal services with Advocates for Human Rights, representing clients in immigration and asylum matters.
The awards for Up & Coming Attorneys will be presented on September 12, 2018 in conjunction with Unsung Legal Heroes selected based on their talent and dedication in the legal support profession. Up & Coming Attorneys is in its 18th year of recognition.
