Bill Asp Featured in Minnesota CLE Webcast Series

Bill Asp recently presented “How to Handle Creditor Claims” as part of Minnesota CLE’s Probate A to Z Webcast Series. This seminar explored what constitutes a "claim" in Minnesota, giving proper notice of probate to potential creditors, the payment of legitimate claims, and how to handle insolvent estates. Bill also touched upon how to protect estates from claims that are barred or improperly submitted.

Bill is a co-chair of Best & Flanagan’s Private Wealth Planning section. His practice includes estate planning, estate administration, trust administration and estate and trust litigation for a wide range of clients including both individuals and families. Bill is a frequent speaker on various estate planning topics, and a co-author of the Minnesota CLE Estate Administration Deskbook.

The Probate A to Z Webcast Series was designed to cover the important steps in the probate process and to provide value to both the experienced and newly minted practitioners alike, while utilizing the Minnesota Estate Administration Deskbook to provide insights that are immediately applicable to practice. Originally presented on February 13, 2024, this seminar is now available for playback on-demand for standard CLE credit. For more information, please visit the Minnesota CLE website.
