Joel Schroeder to Speak at 2020 Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute

Best & Flanagan partner Joel Schroeder will be speaking at the annual Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute on the topic of “Damages in Employment Cases – Defense Perspectives on Deposing Treating Doctors, Contacting Subsequent Employers, Defeating Front Pay Claims and More!”  The panel discussion will focus on what discovery to seek, including when an Independent Medical Exam is warranted, whether to depose treating doctors, whether to contact subsequent employers, how to defeat back pay and front pay claims, attacking damages theories in lost profit cases and more.  Joel will be joined by experienced employment litigators and fellow panelists Melissa Raphan (Dorsey & Whitney), Sarah Riskin (Nilan Johnson Lewis) and Kathleen Caminiti (Fisher Phillips).
