Best & Flanagan is proud to sponsor the great work of Volunteer Lawyers Network, a Minneapolis non-profit that brings free legal help to people experiencing poverty.

Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN) will host its annual Riverfront Celebration on Thursday, September 12, 2019. This fundraiser, sponsored by prominent local law firms and corporations, enables VLN to help thousands of clients every year.

A housing shortage, ever-changing immigration laws, increasing healthcare costs and a complex criminal justice system leave many Minnesotans in desperate need of affordable legal help. Best & Flanagan believes in meeting those challenges by supporting programs that connect people in poverty with Minnesota’s top private lawyers.

And we are not alone: this year, the Riverfront Celebration will honor the Partners in Justice that help #MakeProBonoHappen by hosting community legal clinics. VLN lawyers provide “amazing support through a difficult situation,” one client said.

All Minnesotans deserve equal access to the justice system. By supporting VLN, we are working to turn that ideal into a reality.
