Of
equal importance to clients is our experience representing every
possible participant in real estate transactions, including institutional
lenders, investors, homeowners, builders, developers, title companies,
municipalities, non-profit organizations, commercial tenants, condominium
and cooperative owners associations, and real estate brokers. These
transactions range from house closings and small business leases,
to office and retail projects valued at over $100 million and a
complex multi-use development covering over 1,000 acres.
This combination of technical knowledge and broad real-life experience
has resulted in a practical, results-oriented approach to the client’s
needs. We pride ourselves on being problem solvers. Additionally,
we frequently cooperate with the attorneys in our Government Law
and Municipal Finance departments. Their expertise allows us to
solve the full range of our clients’ real estate related issues.
Allianz
Life Insurance Company of North America has selected Paul
Kaminski, of Best & Flanagan, to represent it in the development
and construction of a new 200,000 square foot office building
in Golden Valley. The new building will be an addition to
the company's existing 400,000 square foot campus, located
at the northwest quadrant of Highways 100 and 394 in Golden
Valley, Minnesota. Paul assisted Allianz in 2001 with the
construction of the original campus, and has been asked to
represent Allianz again with regard to architectural and construction
contract issues, financing, and related matters. |
Walt
Graff has been selected to represent the developers of an exclusive
luxury 8-story condominium, to be built in downtown Minneapolis
on a Marquette Avenue site that adjoins the WCCO-TV studios
and Orchestra Hall. The project will contain only 8 units, ranging
in price from $1.3 to 2.0 million (shell prices), encompassing
3,350 finished square feet and an outdoor terrace of 630 feet.
The lead developer, Dick Zehring, is major local real estate
developer, and selected Walt in recognition of his outstanding
reputation for condominium development. |
