William R. Asp is an associate in the firm’s Private Wealth Planning practice area. His practice includes estate planning, estate administration, trust administration and estate and trust litigation for a wide range of clients including both individuals and families. Bill is also a frequent speaker on various estate planning topics.
Bill is active in the community, currently serving as the Advisory Board Chair for Reach Out and Read Minnesota, a nonprofit organization that prepares America’s youngest children to succeed in school by partnering with doctors to prescribe books and encourage families to read together.
Bill also provides pro bono estate planning services through Volunteer Lawyers Network, and has volunteered at the Tubman Family Alliance, and at the Upper Midwest Pension Rights Project.
Prior to joining Best & Flanagan, Bill was a law clerk for the Legislation Committee of the Probate & Trust section of the Minnesota Bar Association.
