Tim Sullivan has been elected to the Penumbra Theatre Board of Directors. The Penumbra Theatre was founded in 1976 by Artistic Director Lou Bellamy to create a forum for African-American voices in the Twin Cities’ well-respected theater community. Over the years that followed, Penumbra Theatre Company lived up to its mission of presenting artistically excellent productions that depict emotional, relevant and valuable experiences from an African American perspective. It has achieved national recognition for its quality productions and leadership role in launching the career of many respected playwrights, including two-time Pulitzer Prize winner August Wilson.
Tim Sullivan is a member of Best & Flanagan’s Construction and Litigation practice groups. His practice focuses on civil litigation and appeals, primarily in the areas of construction, commercial, employment, probate and real estate disputes. Tim primarily serves commercial and industrial contractors, owners and subcontractors. He also represents physicians and clinics and has served as general counsel to LifeSource (the Upper Midwest Organ Procurement organization) since its inception. Tim has extensive experience with estate and shareholder disputes. He is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and is included in the Best Lawyers of America. In 2014, he was named Construction Lawyer of the Year.
