Sarah E. Crippen

Sarah E. Crippen is Chair of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice area and the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group. In addition to a general civil litigation practice that includes contract disputes, regulatory and administrative hearings and mediation and arbitration, Sarah handles litigation matters and provides advice in all areas of employment law. Sarah’s employment and labor practice includes policy and practice advice, labor negotiations and grievances, and representation before federal and state human rights and equal employment opportunity enforcement agencies.

Since 2005, Sarah has also acted as Best & Flanagan’s Human Resources Partner. In that role, she supervises all aspects of the firm’s human resources policies and practices, including compliance, recruiting, evaluations and other personnel matters.

Sarah has been named a “Rising Star” by Minnesota Law & Politics and has received a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating. 

She provides pro bono services to the Volunteer Lawyers Network, where she represents individuals in employment matters. Sarah also conducts regular legal work for her church. In her free time, Sarah enjoys volunteering for her children’s school and assisting with school and church governance.
