N. Walter Graff is a member of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Lending and Real Estate Law practice areas. His practice emphasizes purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, commercial lending, complex easements and condominium, townhouse, and cooperative projects. Walt has represented all possible parties to real estate transactions, including builders, developers, investors, owners of commercial and apartment properties, lenders, homeowner’s associations, individual buyers and sellers, and municipalities.
Walt lectures frequently for continuing legal education programs and has taught courses in real estate law at the University of Minnesota Law School. He has published numerous articles in his field.
Walt’s civic activities include serving as Chancellor for the Episcopal Dioceses of Minnesota, as Treasurer and member of the Board of Trustees for Northwestern Health Sciences University, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the U.S.–China People’s Friendship Association–Minnesota. He offers pro bono services through the Volunteer Lawyer’s Network.
