Kathy Yip is an associate at Best & Flanagan, practicing in the areas of Native American Law and Real Estate. She provides a broad range of services to lenders, borrowers, developers, and Native American clients. Her Native American law practice focuses on tribal financing, gaming regulation, and governance.
Additionally, Kathy has represented lenders, borrowers, and real estate owners and developers in connection with complex real estate and other commercial transactions involving financing of office, retail, residential, hotel, mezzanine and junior debt structures, tenants in common structures, and ground lease parcels and real estate related litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Kathy clerked for the Honorable David E. Christensen and the Honorable Timothy K. Connell in Southwest Minnesota (Pipestone County and Rock County).
