John A. Richter


John Richter is an associate attorney at Best & Flanagan and a member of the firm’s Business Law practice group. In these roles, John utilizes his legal, business, and accounting backgrounds to understand and address clients’ unique and broad-ranging needs.

During his time at the University of Iowa College of Law, John served as Editor in Chief of the Iowa Law Review and authored an article on a criminal sentencing guidelines issue, published in Volume 101 of that journal. John also earned the College of Law’s 2016 Randy J. Holland Award for Corporate Scholarship for the best scholarly paper on corporate law. Prior to law school, John majored in Accounting and earned his B.B.A. from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
