Jeffrey N. Davidman is a member of the Firm’s Government Relations, Native American and Government and Land Development practice areas.
Jeff’s practice primarily focuses on representing corporations, governmental entities and trade associations before the Minnesota Legislature, state agencies and regional and local units of government. In this capacity, Jeff represents clients on a variety of issues including: transportation, tax, fiscal policy, alternative energy, health and human services and environment issues. In addition, Jeff also counsels his clients on federal and state campaign finance laws.
For over a decade, Jeff has either represented clients before, or worked within, Minnesota’s State Government. Prior to joining Best & Flanagan, Jeff was the Director of State and Local Government Affairs for Delta Air Lines (formerly Northwest Airlines). In this position, Jeff was the chief lobbyist for the Airline in Minnesota and was responsible for developing and implementing political strategies for the company.
Prior to his tenure at the Airline, Jeff was a Senior Policy Advisor to Governor Pawlenty working in the areas of transportation, public safety, education and on a variety of other issues.
Before joining the Governor’s office, Jeff worked as committee staff for the Judiciary Finance and the Governmental Operations and Veterans Affairs committees in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
Jeff and his family live in Maple Grove, Minnesota. In his free time, Jeff enjoys playing sports, traveling and trying to keep up with his two daughters.
