This series will address many of the key counterterrorism issues that have emerged in the 10 years since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. The program will examine, in particular, the evolution and trajectory of contemporary terrorism threats and associated counterterrorism responses–at both the strategic and operational levels–from the perspectives of key local, national, and international policymakers and practitioners.
11:00am-2:00pm : Closed-door workshop covering key counterterrorism operational issues and best practices that is intended for Chief Security Officers, police, senior homeland security/emergency management personnel, and other key private and public sector leaders. (Invitation Only)
2:30pm-4:45pm : Roundtable discussion of major terrorism and counterterrorism issues with noted policymakers and practitioners . (Open to the Public)
5:00pm-6:00pm : Keynote address. (Open to the Public)
