Best & Flanagan Attorneys Tom Radio and Justin Short Present at Structural Forensic Engineering Seminar on 8/15

Tom Radio and Justin Short presented at the Structural Forensic Engineering seminar put on by HalfMoon Education on Thursday, August 15th in Eagen, Minnesota. Tom’s presentation, entitled “Examining the Role of Forensic Engineering in Construction Disputes,” covered the causes and consequences of structural failures, importance of good design, impact of codes and standards, legal and economic impacts of failures and the results and consequences of forensic engineering.

Justin followed with a presentation, “Using Forensic Engineering Information in Litigation.” in which he covered details such as examining the nature of post-failure conflicts and disputes, understanding the use of forensic engineering information in arbitration, litigation and mediation, and presenting forensic engineering information as an expert witness.
