Brad
Williams is a partner and member of the firm's Real Estate Law and
Commercial Real Estate Lending practice areas. His practice focuses
on real estate and commercial lending including acquisitions, dispositions,
finance, development, workouts and leasing. Brad represents lenders
of all types, institutional investors and developers.
Brad
has extensive experience in transactions both large and small, including
complex transactions involving credit enhancements (such as letters
of credit and rate caps), mezzanine/junior debt structures, tenants
in common structures, multi-use condominiums, air rights and ground
lease parcels. He has represented several major national clients,
including a REIT in the acquisition of a multi-site industrial/warehouse
complex and a conduit lender in a $389,000,000 portfolio financing
involving properties in 14 states. Brad has also developed form
documents and program requirements for clients, and has served as
local counsel in numerous transactions.
Brad has appeared as a speaker at both local and national seminars
and conferences, including the National Retail Tenants Conference,
and most recently at the 2008 Midwest Capital Markets Conference.
Active in a variety of community activities, he has provided pro
bono services to Rebuild Resources and LegalCorps, and volunteers
with Habitat for Humanity. He also enjoys volunteering as a children's
tennis instructor.
