Sarah
Crippen Madison is a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute
Resolution practice area. Sarah has represented small to
medium-sized businesses, individuals and labor unions in the areas
of employment and civil rights law. She also represents businesses
in general civil litigation matters and handles civil rights cases
for a private prison company.
Sarah's
significant cases include representation of a company in a trial
of national origin discrimination case and representation of numerous
clients in employment discrimination and wrongful discharge cases.
She counts as a significant accomplishment her representation
of a local union in a disaffiliation/trusteeship action brought
by a large international organization, which litigation preserved
the local's independence.
Sarah
has been named a Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politics
and has received a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating.
She provides pro bono services to the Volunteer
Lawyers Network, where she represents individuals in employment matters.
She also conducts regular legal work for her church.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys volunteering for her children's school
and assisting with school and church governance.
