Daniel Kaplan's law practice focuses on representing clients in business and real estate matters. His clients include individual entrepreneurs, businesses in a variety of industries, landlords and tenants, big box retailers, and land developers.

Daniel advises business on a broad range of issues including start-ups, contract negotiations, financing and secured transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Daniel also advises business owners on governance, control, and other organizational issues concerning their legal entities.

Daniel's real estate practice focuses on representing landlords and tenants in commercial, retail, and office leasing transactions.  He represents clients in buying and selling commercial and residential real estate, as well as lenders and borrowers in real estate financing transactions.

Daniel is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hopkins Education Foundation.   In his free time, he enjoys watching his kids play sports/dance, fine dining, and playing golf.
