Justin Short named Power 30 Honoree for Construction & Commercial Real Estate Law

Best & Flanagan is excited to announce that Justin Short has been selected to the 2024 edition of “The POWER 30: Construction and Real Estate,” published in the March 28 issue of Minnesota Lawyer.

Justin is a partner in the firm’s Construction, Real Estate and Litigation practice groups. He specializes in construction claims relating to infrastructure, highway and bridge projects and vertical construction, and works closely with state and federal governments and the Army Corps of Engineers. Justin has represented prime contractors, subcontractors, commercial landowners, and other clients throughout the Midwest, as well as Colorado, Arizona and Texas. He is also a national lecturer on construction and real estate industry topics, and regularly gives private seminars to contractors and commercial landowners throughout the United States.

This editorial-selected list highlights “those whose mere presence on a case signifies the stakes, who have influenced the direction of the law, whose leadership in the community is pervasive and whose respect within the bar is undeniable.” In his POWER 30 profile, Justin says, “Minnesota is home to some of the most innovative and sophisticated contractors in the country.” The trends he sees in public projects are between differing generations. “It’s a personality change, not a change in the law or specifications."
